Una fecha mas de la Intercontinental Le Mans Cup y ultima fecha del año para la American Le Mans Series.

- Entre la lista de inscritos se encuentran un total de 58 vehiculos pero solamente 53 podrá tomar la salida el sabado.
"The cars in question of being allowed to start are in the LMPC and GTC categories. It's believed that registered full-season entries that have competed in all eight races to date will be locked in, given they complete the minimum qualifying requirements in night practice and next Friday's qualifying session. Those same requirements will be enforced in the remaining four categories as well."

- IMSA le permitira a los equipos de la LMPC tener 4 pilotos por carro:
Scot Elkins: “The primary reason [for allowing four driver squads] was because we have cars that we know aren’t going to make it into the race,” Elkins said. “So in order to try and be as fair as we possibly can, we worked in conjunction with the ACO and were able to increase the driver limit by one. It’s to help those cars that aren’t going to get in the race so they could at least participate.”

- Ayer domingo y hoy lunes los equipos tuvieron la oportunidad de probar en Road Atlanta previo a la Petit Le Mans, el domingo tuvieron 7 horas de tiempo en pista mientras que hoy lunes tuvieron el chance de estar 8 horas en pista, mas que todo probando neumaticos como la mayoria de equipos indica.
Con 23 equipos el domingo en pista, es Peugeot quien se queda con el mejor tiempo del dia, Sebastien Bourdais, Simon Pagenaud y Anthony Davidson serían los encargados de marcar un tiempo de 1m08.291s. En la LMP2 el equipo Level 5 se queda con el mejor tiempo de la categoria con su nuevo chasis HPD mientras que los Corvettes se quedaban con el mejor tiempo de la GT seguidos por el ganador de la fecha anterior en Laguna Seca, el Porsche 45 de Flying Lizard, los ausentes eran BMW y Ferrari.

Para hoy es Audi con Romain Dumas quienes se quedan con el mejor tiempo del dia con 1m08.394s, 0.175seg adelante del Peugeot #7 de Pagenaud, Bourdais y Davidson quienes ayer obtuvieron el mejor tiempo del dia.
"Dumas and co-drivers Marcel Fassler and Timo Bernhard completed 119 laps in their No. 1 Audi R18 TDI over the eight hours of track time available today. However, it didn’t match the mileage racked up by the two Peugeots, which combined for a whopping 323 laps, or 820 miles over the four-hour afternoon session alone."
Level 5 Motorsports de nuevo obtiene el mejor tiempo del dia esta vez con un 1-2 del equipo en la LMP2, el tiempo de Luis Diaz fue de 1m13.291s con Christophe Bouchut segundo.
Patrick Long se ubica como el mejor en la GT gracias a un tiempo de 1m20.251s.

"Monday’s test started in damp conditions, as only a handful of cars turned laps in the opening four hours of activity. But a total of 32 entries set time in the afternoon, which ran without major incident.
Next on tap for American Le Mans Series and Intercontinental Le Mans Cup competitors will be a two-hour promoter test session on Wednesday, which will officially kick off activities for Saturday’s 1,000-mile/10-hour enduro." - John Dagys (SPEEDtv)
