This car was built from the ground up to compete in a Professional Touring car series in Latin America. The series is an FIA event with all such requirements. The car is light, nimble and powerful. It is a complete package including spare engines, transmissions, differentials etc... This is a Turn Key operation for the new owner! Only the best components were used throughout. Driver adjustable brake bias with tilton brake cylinders for front/rear/clutch. Interior defrosting system for the windshield, driver ice cooling system, full radio system, wipers, fuel sample ports and pump overide switch, wired for headlights for night racing, wideband O2, Full AIM data aquisition system with track mapping and data logging. Electric fan with driver controlled tip in temperature switch or overide, transponder hard wired, bumpers Dzus tabbed for quick removal, brakes have professional ducting to rotor center, much more!!
History
Car was built in 2009 to compete in the new Super Tourismo Pro Touring car series in Latin America. The rules are very similar to World Challenge with the SCCA. The car was imported from the USA mid year 2009 after being converted from a street car by Piper Motorsports who installed chassis bracing, 6 point safety cage and did the full strip of the car. The car then went through a full build up of the suspension, brakes, interior, body, and engine. The car is very light for an E36 chassis car at only 2200 pounds! The chassis is solid and well engineered. The car is strait with no major crash damage or shunts. In the eight events entered in 2009/10 the car finished every single race (sometimes four races in a weekend, and endurance races as well) with 100% reliability! This car is solid as a tank! The new engine has 4 races on it and has a even 0.25% leakdown on all cylinders! The engine was professionally built by a veteran racing engine builder and was blueprinted to within 1/4 gram! The engine is good for 2 seasons of racing without a freshen-up! Always the best looking car on the grid, it is a car your can be proud to compete in!
